Located behind the Xscape retail park in Castleford, this 15,500 sqft industrial provides excellent and flexible space with a generous external yard. Located just off the M62 the property was ideal for Avis Van & Car Rental. Westcourt purchased this investment property in 2018 to further expand our portfolio in the industrial & warehouse commercial sector.
An investment purchase in 2019. This former warehouse was built in 1868 By Edward Birchall in a Gothic Revival style, for cloth manufacturer Walter Stead. The warehouse was gutted by fire in 1977 and rebuilt in the early 1980s. By 1886 the building was the woollen warehouse of Joshua Wilson and Sons. It is now used as offices and occupied by the Secretary of State.
A 10,000 sq.ft office building on Wellington St, Leeds constructed in 1873. We have exciting plans to refurbish this gothic styled building that will create interesting and unique offices that will be available for occupation January 2021.
We undertook a significant refurbishment and enhancement of this building to create a ground floor leisure unit and 3,000 sq.ft of prime boutique office space in Leeds City Centre. A truly unique building designed by architect Joseph Thewlis. As part of the refurbishment an external lighting scheme was installed to highlight the unique and sculptural frieze for which we were delighted to be honoured at the Leeds Architectural Awards.
